A Meaningful Centerpiece
These challah boards are more than just serving pieces — they're functional art that brings beauty and meaning to your Shabbat table. Each board starts with carefully selected natural wood, often featuring live edges with preserved bark that showcase the tree's original form.
The designs are meticulously routed into the wood surface, then filled with colored epoxy resin to create striking visual contrast. From Hebrew blessings and traditional symbols to personalized family names and special dates, the possibilities are endless.
Popular designs include traditional phrases like "Shabbat Shalom," playful messages like "Happy Challah Days," or custom Hebrew text meaningful to your family. Decorative elements such as wheat stalks, candles, braided challah illustrations, and other Judaica symbols add artistic detail.
After the epoxy inlay work is complete, each board is finished with multiple coats of natural food-safe oils and waxes. This protective finish enhances the wood's natural grain while ensuring the board is safe for direct food contact and easy to maintain.
Whether you choose a rectangular board with traditional straight edges or a unique round slice showcasing dramatic growth rings, each piece celebrates the intersection of artisan craftsmanship and spiritual tradition.
"Make your Shabbat table shine with a board that's as unique as your family's traditions."
